Jack

Hey BOstan,

How r u? I am doing fine, it has been a tiring week. I got your letter the day before yesterday, and I will try to get my letter in the mail as soon as I can. Why this post is called Jack is because that is the name of my bird. I love him dearly, but have decided to sell him because I don't have enough time for him and don't want him to suffer at my expense. I have had him for about a year and have finally decided that it would be best for my bird if he went some where that someone has more time for him. I hope you like the picture. Anything New? Well I hope to hear from you soon, and sorry for the really short post, but I am extremely busy, and I just wanted to say hi.

Wednesday

Well today is Wednesday so it means service, all day long. From 9:00 to 3:00. It is tiring but I enjoy it anyway. It is really windy and rainy out today, there is a storm supposedly coming soon. It is about 40 out which is amazing! But tomorrow it is suppose to go below freezing, again. It was nice while it lasted, and it helped my aux. pioneering, I currently have 27 hrs. It has been tough with school, and I admit, I am not getting as much done, but it is worth it. I am going to catch up on my school work latter today after service, which means doing a History test, a Book test, and finishing an outline on Incas. Well sorry for babbling on. By the way did you see my post before this one? With high hopes for seeing you soon,

Letter

Hey BOstan,

I just got your letter in the mail yesterday. And I agree with you about the not talking thing. If we did ever get in a fight, (though I cant imagine getting mad at you, EVER) I think we should still write to talk it out, and get over it as quickly as possible so that we can talk as freely as ever and become even better friends. :) Well any way, what did your mom think of my writing of the Moon? Tell the truth, I wont be hert if she did not think it was that great. I will get my letter in the mail as soon as possible! I will write a new post soon, (one that is hopefuly more intresting) till then,

Your faithful and (hopefully, you r mine) best friend,

The Thief of the Night

There it lies,
That ghastly gallon,
Hidden among the trees.
It is the thief of the night.
Stealing all the stars glory,
Their light,
Their shine.
Slowly but steadily,
Gaining back its size,
At the expense of the stars.
As the ghastly gallon grows,
The stars loose their shine, and dim....

Ode to the Moon

I finally saw that ghostly gallon tonight, hiding as if not to be found, behind a substantial lot of trees. It loomed as if seeking something beyond its reach. Its radiance, the pale moonlight spilling over things, gave away its hiding spot. It was only a sliver, as if a jagged knife, slicing threw the nights air, to show its sorrow for its loss of volume. It searches for the sun with no avail. If it is lucky, a few times a year, it will catch a glimpse of the sun as it is going down. But it is faint as if not really there. A shadow, or an outline, of the night ahead. It is majestic in its sorrowful beauty. Something the sun will never posses.

Writing

.... I really love to write in truth.... I don't seem to be able to write stories, but I would love to be able to. I am best at poems, and essays, and little short stories, but I think I could write better things if I just practiced more. I love (as you already know) to write in a journal. I feel so much more able to write. What is your favorite thing to write about? I think, that I like to write about nature the most. I have found that I really like to write about the moon. Don't ask me why, but it inspires me and the words flow. I will post one I have previously written sometime in the future. I can't wait to hear from you, both on paper and on your Blog.

Tuesdays

(Sigh) it is a Tuesday, again.... I always have so much to do on Tuesdays. First I have school, then I have to study for meeting, after that I have to pick up my friend from school, which as soon as we do we work out at a near by gym called the Natitorium, (Nat for short) after which, we drop here off, and I get rushed over to my grandparents, where I eat dinner, and am there by whisked off to orchestra. After that escapade, I am picked up and we go strait to the meeting.... Today I am happy though. We have our circuit oversears visit, and I am pioneering this month, so I hope all goes well this week and month. The cool thing about auxiliary pioneering the month of the circuit overseers visit, is that you get to go to the pioneer meeting. I went last July, it was really good. Well I have to start my day now.... Hope to hear from you soon,
